This children's helmet was designed by Mark Cumnock after he was unable to find a helmet on the market tough enough to help protect his children , while they enjoyed the rivers together. This helmet is not an adult helmet made to fit a child, which can end in disastrous results. The Brook was designed from the ground up to provide bomber protection for a child's smaller and softer head. Made of the toughest composites, and even more importantly it is lighter and still strong ,so growing necks can support it, and yet be stylish and comfortable to wear. We here at Iron River have found that our children want to wear it all the time and not  take it off while playing on the river bank or at the takeout. Which gives a parent the peace of mind while having his or her children on the river. One less thing to worry about, and makes any trip more enjoyable and stress free for both parent and child.
