Iron River Helmet: Back Brim Carbon Fiber Kay Helmet - This helmet has a carbon/Kevlar shell and an energy absorbing Ensolite liner. This combination offers a higher level of protection and impact resistance than common mini-cell foam liners. You choose your size at checkout so each helmet is a custom fit. This is a great kayak & boating helmet because the rear brim provides protection from slamming the back of your boat and some coverage for the neck when it is exposed. The carbon/kevlar construction is a light weight material with considerable impact resistance. The design of this helmet provides side and rear protection for all those nasty rolls & spills.
